The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), Office of Population Affairs announces the anticipated availability of funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 under the authority of Section 241 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. § 238j). The primary focus of OASH is leading America to healthier lives, especially for those who are most vulnerable, including those who have suffered historic disparities. In support of this vision, OPA promotes health across the reproductive lifespan through innovative, evidence-based adolescent health and family planning programs, services, strategic partnerships, evaluation, and research. Research investigating teen pregnancy prevention approaches is designed to give youth the information and skills to promote adolescent sexual and reproductive health and prevent teen pregnancy across the United States, especially among vulnerable populations, including those who have suffered historic disparities.
