The purpose of the Emergency Medical Services for Children State Partnership Program is to improve and expand pediatric readiness in both hospital emergency departments and prehospital emergency medical services agencies, by supporting the implementation of the pediatric readiness guidelines and the inclusion of pediatric emergency readiness in disaster preparedness plans, within all 59 states and jurisdictions.
