Structural Technician

As a Structural Technician you will work on a wide range of projects across the UK for a respected, recognised, and sought-after net-zero engineering consultancies.

Typical project sectors include education, commercial, distilleries, residential builds, healthcare, distilleries, visitor centres, museums, religious buildings, the list goes on!

Apart from being an environmentally conscious firm, they are involved in a vast range of engineering sectors with lots of projects confirmed for a busy year ahead.

This Structural Technician position is best suited to candidates with 5 years+ with Revit software within a UK based engineering consultancy experience who wish to join a design team and progress to senior level, quickly.

You will be joining a team of 7 technicians split across 3 separate design offices ensuring that you will have lots of support available to help you advance within your career.

The role demands that you will be comfortable working collaboratively with internal and external clients, decision makers and industry stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects that frequently exceed that value of £200M.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out design work in all common building materials.
• Contributing to company development.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings.
• Prepare structural engineering drawings for various projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• An HNC/HND in civil and structural engineering.
• A technically competent technician with established skills and delivery capability.
• Comfortable using AutoCAD software packages, Revit experience is required.
