Principal / Associate Designate – Structures

£60,000 - £65,000 plus benefits
Our client has a fabulous opportunity for a Chartered structural engineer at Principal level, although they will consider Associate Designate candidates. If you are feeling unappreciated and looking for the next step on your career ladder this could be it. The position holds responsibility for the delivery of diverse projects, and you will work closely with all departments within the practice as well as external clients and contractors.
Duties will be varied and will include:
- Design for various building structures schemes;
- Training and mentoring team;
- Liaise with clients to ensure briefs and expectations are met;
- Identify new business and nurture existing clients to ensure ongoing work.
About you:
- Chartered MIStructE / MICE;
- Experience in a managerial position;
- Able to lead your team, ensuring staff members feel valued and motivated;
- Strong business acumen, including desire to become involved in marketing.
