Doctoral Candidate (75% TVL- E13)

The successful applicant needs to have (or she/he is about to have in a foreseeable future) a master degree (or comparable) in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Economics or Data Science and good knowledge in econometrics, financial econometrics, statistics, stochastics and/or time series as well as in empirical analysis. Proficiency in a programming language and in English is obligatory, while proficiency in German is not mandatory, but advantageous. The successful candidate will contribute to the research of the chair in modeling and forecasting (high-frequency) big financial data.
