Our client offers the successful candidate the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience across a wide range of engineer disciplines. They are a highly talented and experienced team of professionals and are very well known for their dynamic working atmosphere, by both competitors and clients.

As a Civil Structural Engineer, you will be tasked to design concrete, steel, masonry and timber structures by hand calculations and engineering software. You will need to be familiar with current Standards and Codes and will be project leader on small projects.  Part of your remit will be to deliver elements on larger projects, which includes monitoring the project process and spend.

You will be expected to undertake design meetings and site visits, including to present sites their solutions. You would be checking calculations, reports and drawings for project team, other internal teams and external designers. You will assist bid directors with fee proposals and, on smaller projects, prepare design fees.

Our client is needing a civil/ structural engineer who has upper 2^nd BEng / Meng in Engineering, a member of either the ICE or IStructE. You would need working knowledge of bridge design to Eurocodes as well as BS5400 and Bridge Assessment Codes.

They are looking for the successful candidate to have experience in using software such as LUSAS, MIDAS, TEDDS, SCIA Engineer etc. Ability to work independently and as a vital part of the team.
