Solar Solutions Our client partners with the world’s industry-leading providers of solar products and solutions, including manufacturers of photovoltaic modules, inverters, racking, balance of systems (BOS) and energy storage. These partnerships, along with unique supply chain value proposition, have made them a vendor of choice for residential and commercial contractors, installers, and utilities. Their renewables experts provide in-depth information on the ever-changing solar market, as well as knowledge and technical support for installers and end-users. Our client’s solar business is well established across North America and Europe. They have recently completed a further 50 projects with typical project sizes range from £50,000 to £3m. They offer full turnkey solutions from initial surveys, detail design, DNO management, procurement of products and fitting as well as whole-life maintenance. They provide solutions to a large range of different customers including building and asset owners, asset management organisations, OEM’s, CNI marketplace and across all sectors. Their solar business has significant future growth potential. They have a current pipeline of £40m worth of potential projects in solar. The new appointment will play a key part in successfully converting these by bringing more specific technical and project expertise to our client's business. Business Development Manager– Solar and Battery Storage * Create a Solar and Battery Storage strategy to successfully execute the current pipeline of opportunities and reach new business opportunities across the EMEA Region including research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets. * Work closely with the energy efficiency group and the business development leader for renewables in the new build market. Identifying new business opportunities in the Solar and Battery Storage Sector, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services Building relationships with new and existing customers, gauging their needs, and developing strategies to address these needs. * Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients Promoting Solar and Battery Storage Value Proposition to new and existing clients Build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends in the Solar and Battery Storage market. Experience and skills * Candidates will have strong technical sales experience gained in the solar energy or LED sector. * They will have progressed their careers and now have well-developed commercial skills to be able to convert a strong pipeline of opportunities that the business has. * Experience in leadership would be advantageous, as opportunities will exist for the new appointee to further develop and lead a growing team. * An enthusiastic outlook, charismatic and with a good sense of humour. REMUNERATION PACKAGE Excellent salary, with bonus, car allowance and benefits package. LOCATION Ideally UK based. Could consider European based.
