Following the Ukraine war and the military conflicts with negative consequences in world trade, the European Union has actively engaged in global technology politics, positioning itself not only as a major global technology player but also as a key participant in geopolitical and international development.
The ICABE 2024 conference attracts a global audience as it explores various crucial aspects connected to the economic, geopolitical, and social progress in Europe. It fosters valuable insights and advances in research to promote optimal innovations in these scientific fields.
As such, we encourage authors to submit both theoretical and empirical contributions aligned with the conference’s overarching theme, “Navigating the Future: Opportunities, Challenges, and ECONOMIC/ ECONOMICS FUNDAMENTALS in the ESG Era”. Submissions may encompass topics such as Economics/Environmental Economics, Business/Leadership, Finance, Sustainability, Governance, Social Responsibility, Innovation, Risk Management, Big Data, ESG, globalization, sustainable economic development, the evolution of economic models, welfare economics, inclusive growth, geopolitical conflicts (both military and non-military), economic and financial crises, technological innovation, digital disruption, artificial intelligence, inequality, labor market institutions, international investment, migration, specialization and trade, business environment, and competitiveness, among others.
All contributions submitted must be original and not have been previously published or under consideration by other publishers. All papers must be written in English.
The objective is to foster discussions that cater to academics and researchers, CEOs and managers of both private and public companies, specialists and consultants, policymakers, and labor market observatories, along with others interested in the specified issues.
Consequently, we encourage contributions that advance both theoretical and empirical research, enhancing the comprehension of current issues in the domain. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process and will be published in the conference proceedings as well as various journals.

Special sessions dedicated to graduate students (M.Sc. and Ph.D. candidates) have been arranged, with the Scientific Committee of the Conference selecting three of the best papers for FREE publication in one of the international journals ERSJ, IJEBA or IJFIRM, following the publishing requirements of each journal.
