We have an immediate need for a Vice President / Infrastructure Engineering Lead to drive and expand a Transportation Engineering practice across the greater NY metropolitan area.
This is a true leadership role. You will be responsible for growing market presence, leading multidisciplinary infrastructure teams, mentoring senior staff, and strengthening relationships with key public-sector transportation agencies.

What You’ll Be Leading

Strategic growth and coordination of a Transportation Engineering practice spanning:
-
Bridge
-
Highway
-
Rail
-
Traffic engineering
-

Oversight of civil and structural engineering analysis, planning, and design for major capital improvement programs

Supervision of:

Condition assessments
-
Load ratings
-
Repair and rehabilitation design
-
Reconstruction of horizontal structures including bridges, culverts, transit stations, piers, and waterfront facilities

Execution oversight on projects ranging from targeted rehabilitations to large-scale new construction

Mentorship and development of engineering and CAD/BIM staff
-
Preparation and leadership of technical and cost proposals for major pursuits

Staffing strategy, financial performance oversight, and performance management

Monthly and quarterly financial forecasting

Development and refinement of internal design and drafting standards
-
Relationship building with NY transportation agencies, authorities, and city/state clients

Active participation in industry and business development events
What They’re Looking For
-
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus)
-
15+ years of civil/structural infrastructure experience
-
New York PE required
-
Proven leadership and mentorship experience

Strong background in bridge and transportation infrastructure

Experience with structural analysis software

Strong understanding of applicable transportation codes and standards

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
-
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistently
