The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $30,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds. This NOFO aims to support Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) in the provision of innovative and sustainable HIV prevention, testing, counseling, treatment, monitoring, care, support, and retention. It targets all populations, including priority populations (PPs), key populations (KPs), and other sub-populations to achieve 95-95-95 goals (95% of people living with HIV (PLHIV) know their status, 95% of known PLHIV on treatment, and 95% of those on treatment virally suppressed). Supported prevention activities include dissemination of health information and education, HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and other HIV bio-medical prevention interventions. Collaboration with other partners to support Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) program and services for KPs and PPs is expected. HIV clinical cascade support includes high-yield case finding strategies, ART initiation, continuity of care, viral load (VL) monitoring, management of advanced HIV disease (AHD), services for TB and other co-infections or chronic conditions, cervical cancer screening and treatment, and provision of evidence-based differentiated service delivery (DSD) models. The recipient(s) will also support Elimination of Mother to Child Transmission (eMTCT) efforts. Implementation will be in selected PEPFAR/CDC-supported provinces, subject to change with changing disease burden, programming gaps, priorities, and PEPFAR guidance.
