Funding Opportunity PAR-25-021 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. The purpose of the NIDCR Dual Degree Dentist Scientist Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Transition Award (F99/K00) is to provide support and mentorship to outstanding students enrolled in integrated dual degree dental (DDS/DMD) and PhD programs during the transition from predoctoral student to postdoctoral scholar. This phased award program will facilitate completion of predoctoral dual degree dentist scientist training (F99) and progression to mentored postdoctoral positions in dental, oral and craniofacial research (K00). It is anticipated that successful completion of this phased award program will enhance dual degree dentist scientists' research career trajectories.
