The purpose of the Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development and Jackie Walorski Center for Evidence-Based Case Management is to improve the recruitment and retention of a diverse and qualified maternal and child health home visiting workforce. The Institute will build the knowledge base on effective workforce development practices, collect and analyze home visiting workforce supply/demand data, and develop professional development/career advancement modalities to ensure a well-supported, diverse, and properly trained home visiting workforce. The Institute will be a single point of entry for home visitor and supervisor continuing education and will supplement existing professional development resources, including home visiting model-specific trainings.MCHB
