The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner titled “Assessing the Needs of Users to Improve the Delivery of Climate Adaptation Information and Data”. The goal of this project is to improve the access and usability of Climate Adaptation Science Center (CASC) projects, data, and publications via the CASC Project Explorer website (“Project Explorer”). The CESU partner chosen for the project will employ different methods to better understand the users of Project Explorer, including determine who they are and what they need, perform expert analysis to guide improvement of the site, and conduct user testing to measure the site’s usability, functionality, and overall user experience. Results from this effort will be reported to the National CASC to inform future improvements to and investments in Project Explorer.
