The Business School is looking to fill the following position at the earliest opportunity:
W2 Professor (m/f/d) of Business Administration, esp. Digital Marketing
Your profile
- Outstanding academic and teaching records
- Several years of professional experience in online marketing, performance-based campaign management, or data science
- A well-defined research profile that supports collaborative projects
- Fluency in both German and English, with strong presentation and teaching skills
- Additional language proficiency in French and/or another world language is a beneficial asset, along with evidence of international experience and professional contacts
Your responsibilities
Teaching primarily in the bachelor’s programs Business Administration and International Business, as well as in the master’s program Marketing Science (MSc).
- Contribute actively to basic education
- Supervise empirical theses and research projects
- Engage in applied research within your field of expertise
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaborations and apply innovative teaching and learning methods
- Support the development of study programs, the business school, and the university
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and a commitment to interdisciplinary work across various fields of study
- Foster partnerships with regional and national businesses
- Participate in curriculum development, student support, and administration
- Be present on campus to ensure optimal student experience
Your qualifications
based on the Saarländisches Hochschulgesetz SHSG.
- A relevant university degree
- Teaching aptitude, demonstrated through experience in teaching or training, as well as participation in professional development and continuing education in university didactics
- Exceptional ability for scientific work, proven by the quality of the doctoral degree
- Significant achievements in applying or developing scientific knowledge and methods, demonstrated during at least five years of professional experience, with a minimum of three years outside the university sector, in a field corresponding to the professorship
