Role Overview:

The Structural Project Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and other structures using industry standards and codes.
  • Develop calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications for structural systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar for modeling and design.
  • Review construction documents, shop drawings, and RFIs for accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and evolving building codes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design.
  • EIT certification required (PE license preferred or on track to obtain one).
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
  • Experience with BIM software (Revit) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
