A well-established multidisciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing structural team. This is a leadership-level role offering the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, contribute to technical strategy, and play a key role in delivering high-quality structural solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
This position is ideal for a licensed PE with strong technical depth who wants to lead projects, mentor teams, and expand their influence within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead structural design for new construction, forensic investigations, and rehabilitation/renovation of existing structures

Perform and oversee design using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems in compliance with applicable building codes

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budgets, schedules, and quality control

Conduct site assessments and evaluate existing conditions to inform design and reporting

Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and engineering documentation

Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance

Act as a technical specialist, advising leadership and contributing to engineering strategy

Mentor and supervise engineers and designers, supporting their technical development

Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams

Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement
What They’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)

Professional Engineer (PE) license required
-
8+ years of structural engineering experience in building design

Strong experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design

Solid understanding of building codes and industry standards

Experience with forensic engineering, restoration, or renovation projects is a plus

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lead projects independently and manage multiple priorities
