We’re partnering with a highly respected structural engineering firm that is expanding into the Arlington, Virginia market with a brand-new office. This is a unique opportunity to join early, work directly with senior leadership, and help shape both project delivery and office culture.

Lead Projects End-to-End
Direct structural projects through all phases — from concept and design to construction administration — with real ownership.

Guide project teams, review deliverables, and support the development of junior engineers.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead structural design and analysis for building projects
- Oversee drawings, calculations, and specifications
- Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary design teams
- Manage project schedules, scope, and deliverables
- Perform and review seismic and lateral system design (braced frames, moment frames, shear walls)
- Support construction administration, RFIs, and site coordination
- Maintain strong client communication and relationships
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- PE license required (SE preferred)
- 7+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience managing projects and leading design efforts
- Strong background in seismic and lateral system design
- Proficiency in ETABS, RISA, RAM, Enercalc, and Revit
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
- $135,000 – $175,000 base salary, depending on experience
