Our client is currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering Team in their London office.

You will work closely with the team Director and assist the project lead with the day-to-day management of design and drawing production, contributing to the successful technical delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with the team, delegating tasks, and ensuring effective communication.
- Mentoring junior engineers, offering technical guidance, and providing expert advice.
- Attending and contributing to client meetings and project discussions.
- Assisting with site inspections and surveys when needed.
- Managing design tasks utilizing your technical expertise.
- Ensuring high-quality technical design output across all projects.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external project team members.
- Recognizing and addressing cost, time, and budgetary implications, and helping prepare fee proposals.
- Producing detailed technical outputs using design models and specialist knowledge.
- Validating design models and calculations and contributing to technical reports and specifications.
- Overseeing drawing production and ensuring compliance with BIM protocols.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team while also providing mentorship to junior team members.
About You:
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status (CEng) with the ICE and/or IStructE.
- Extensive experience in building structures and a broad range of project experience.
- Experience with building surveys and structural assessments is a plus, especially for tall buildings (15+ stories).
- Proficiency in relevant drawing, modelling, and design software.
- Strong technical knowledge of current legislation and industry standards.
- Commercial awareness, project management experience, and the ability to manage costs and time efficiently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
