Position: Civil Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
About the Company:
Join a medium-sized employee engineering consultancy with over 30 staff based in Glasgow, specialising in delivering outstanding infrastructure projects across the UK. They currently have an opening for a talented engineer in their Civil/ Temporary Works team.
Role Overview:
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role within the civils team, contributing to a variety of projects. You should have design experience in one or more of the following areas: slope stability, foundation design, ground anchors, gravity and embedded retaining wall design, formwork design, working platforms, culvert designs, and report writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake concept and detailed design.
- Respond quickly to emerging project requirements.
- Communicate ideas clearly through well-presented drawings.
- Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably BEng/MEng with a minimum 2:1).
- Working towards membership of ICE.
- Clean driving license.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Strand 7 (or equivalent FE analysis software), and Slope/W (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM Regulations.
