A well-established multidisciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing structural team. This is a leadership-level role offering the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, contribute to technical strategy, and play a key role in delivering high-quality structural solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

This position is ideal for a licensed PE with strong technical depth who wants to lead projects, mentor teams, and expand their influence within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead structural design for new construction, forensic investigations, and rehabilitation/renovation of existing structures

  • Perform and oversee design using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems in compliance with applicable building codes

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budgets, schedules, and quality control

  • Conduct site assessments and evaluate existing conditions to inform design and reporting

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and engineering documentation

  • Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance

  • Act as a technical specialist, advising leadership and contributing to engineering strategy

  • Mentor and supervise engineers and designers, supporting their technical development

  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement


What They’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required

  • 8+ years of structural engineering experience in building design

  • Strong experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design

  • Solid understanding of building codes and industry standards

  • Experience with forensic engineering, restoration, or renovation projects is a plus

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to lead projects independently and manage multiple priorities
