Warsaw International Economic Meeting 2026

All economists are invited to submit their unpublished analytical work or new research in all areas of economics with special focus on macroeconomics, international trade, labour economics, education, microeconomics, industrial organization, finance and econometrics. The main objective of this meeting is to stimulate cooperation of researchers from all over the world. Young economists, such as graduate students or post-docs are encouraged to apply. 

The Conference is scheduled for 29-30 June 2026 and will be held in the premises of the University.

Our keynote speaker this year is Prof. Oded Galor (Herbert Goldberger Professor of Economics, Brown University).

As in previous years, the Best Paper Prize for Young Economists will be awarded up to two outstanding papers. The budget for the Prize is 1000 EUR.
