The online Master's degree in Economics and Finance offered by the Department of Economics and Statistics provides students with theoretical knowledge of economics and finance, tools for data analysis and model, simulation employed both in industry and academia. Drawing on 30 years of expertise in delivering an on-campus master program, our online program promises an extensive and enriching educational experience. The fully online format provides the flexibility to balance your studies with your work commitments, fostering connections with instructors and peers from the convenience of your chosen location.On successfully completing the program, students can pursue a professional or an academic career in economics and finance. Former students work in leading companies in the financial sector like Unicredit, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, KPMG, Deloitte, etc., while others have been admitted to prestigious PhD programs both in the US (MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Northwestern) and in Europe (LSE, Oxford, UCL, Toulouse, Mannheim, Pompeu Fabra). Some others are currently working in leading public institutions in Europe, like the ECB, Bank of Italy, and European Commission.
Overview of the Course
This program offers a diverse range of graduate-level courses encompassing finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematics, and econometrics. Elective courses are categorized into three distinct tracks: Financial Markets, Economic Policy, and Macroeconomics.
