Applications are invited for one post-doctoral position in Statistics (any field) at the Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods (DEMM) of the University of Milan.
THE POSITION:
- Duration: 2 years.
- Salary: Gross salary is 30,401 Euros per year. The fellowship is tax-free but subject to 11% social security contributions. The net salary is thus approximately 27,000 Euros per year.
- Teaching: the fellowship does not involve any teaching; remunerated teaching opportunities are typically available if required by the post-doctoral fellow.
CANDIDATE PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates will have obtained, or be close to obtaining, a PhD in Statistics, Econometrics or related disciplines.
- Candidates are expected to conduct independent research at the highest international standards.
- Candidates are expected to participate actively in departmental life and seminars, and to be willing to collaborate with resident fellows on projects of mutual interest.
- Language knowledge: English (knowledge of Italian is NOT required).
