The purpose of the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) National Centers is to improve EHDI systems of care so that families with newborns, infants, and young children up to 3 years of age who are deaf or hard-of-hearing receive appropriate and timely services. These National Centers will provide support and leadership to state EHDI program recipients, systems of care, and stakeholders nationwide at the national, state/territory, and local levels.MCHB
