The purpose of the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network is to improve the quality and efficacy of emergency treatment for children and adolescents by supporting the development and maintenance of a multi-institutional research network that conducts high-quality, scientifically rigorous studies to addresses gaps in evidence-based pediatric emergency care in emergency departments and prehospital emergency medical services agencies, and disseminates these findings.
