This position will be responsible for the daytoday benefits administration of the Ardagh Group health and welfare and 401 k plans as well as participation in the development of strategic health and welfare initiatives. Key responsibilities will include Dayto day administration of the health and welfare benefits and problem resolution [this includes medical plan administration for the active hourly and salaried employees employees on LongTerm Disability and the multiple retiree programs.] The position will also be responsible for the administration of our COBRA and flexible spending account programs Billing and collection of retiree medical premiums 401 k data management and problem resolution Establish review and update Summary Plan Descriptions for the multiple health and welfare programs Corporate FMLA administrator Corporate Safety reporting and management of any corporate Worker s Compensation claims EstablishMaintain web enabled selfservice human resource intranet site Other Human Resource Generalist duties as may be assigned. Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Nursing or related field and a minimum of 35 years of relevant experience or have a High School degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Professional certification is desirable. Must have indepth knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations on benefits COBRA HIPAA FMLA and ERISA . The candidate must have the ability to make decisions in fast paced environment and handle confidential information. This position requires strong organizational analytical interpersonal and communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications in particular Word Excel PowerPoint and Access and have a working knowledge of Indicium. The position will be required to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization on a daily basis.
